The Journey - a Neuromuscular Workout blog

Digital health solutions are the future

With accelerated speed in 2020 and 2021, the behavior of people who request instructed recovery or rehabilitation workouts has moved rapidly towards digital solutions.

I see it every day.

When talking to a client – where it is difficult to schedule a physical, ‘in-person ‘ session – we’ll increasingly quickly adjust to one of the digital solutions I offer, be it a workout within the Neuromuscular Workout APP, or a online live session via a video link.

Sometimes I even suggest a client visit my Instagram profile, especially if I know that I have recently posted some relevant material for this particular client.

And this tendency doesn’t seem to be age or gender specific.

I have clients in their late seventies who happily log on to a video hangout or meeting to do a workout session from home. I have an increasing number of male clients who are happy to do the same. They talk about saving time by not transporting themselves to a clinic or a gym. My younger clients – some of them with smaller budgets – talk about how they quickly find the trendy and popular instructions they look for by searching all the available digital platforms for free material.

My point is that in two years the behavioral attitude towards digital physical fitness maintenance has moved from skepticism to acceptance, and from a niche and narrow target audience to a huge audience who have adjusted to – and I dare to say – a new world order.

An order where you are much more in charge of your own personal health – if you want to make health changes that is.

The Danish entrepreneur, investor and writer Lars Tvede collects and analyzes data in his company Supertrends to show what we can expect in the future and the request for digital health solutions is imminent. It is not just something that happens in my company based in Copenhagen .

It is for this reason – this change in attitude towards digital health solutions – that I have worked so hard recently on providing content on my instagram profile, and developing the Neuromuscular Workout APP, and why I will continue to work to help my clients by means of digital solutions.
